Your Bio

Hi I'm a farmer from Mississippi. That's my brother in the background, he and I and my sons farm cotton, corn, soybeans, and catfish. These are some of the digital photographs I have collected over the last several years, of diverse subjects. In some cases I have borrowed photos from readly available sources (4 or 5 depression era WPA photos of the Delta area and some from the internet), but most are my fault. I have many more of our family that I have taken the liberty to restrict from public view . We have fairly large family outings on holidays. The photographs of these gatherings and the family galleries are password protected for obvious reasons. These other pictures are for anyone to enjoy. Just a way to get all these digital photos out there. I'll be adding more so check back from time to time.

China2 : The pictures start in the Shanghai Inspection and Quarantine office. And end up in Urumqi at the CCA Annual Convention, where Larry gave a speech. The CCA is China's NCC. That cotton was as good or better than any I have ever seen. The fish ponds were, they said, Bass ponds. The mill we visted was owned by Esquel, one of the largest shirt makers in the world.

China3 : We played hooky today. Couldn't sit through another whole day with Chinese speakers and no translation. I almost fell out of my chair from boredom yesterday.
This is a natural lake about 1.5 hours from Urumqi. Snow in the background. I think this is where the irrigation water for this area comes from.
And of course when we went out to eat there was a show with dancing girls. What else!
